The research and development process at Standard Innovation is much like that of any other advanced technology company.

From the initial conceptual stages through to production, our team employs state-of-the-art engineering tools and technologies to ensure each of our products stands up to our promise of creating the most innovative and high-quality products on the market.

Our process is a fully-simulated design approach starting with turning concepts into digital 3D models, followed by prototypes and design testing with simulated human ergonomic softwares and finally a university-managed consumer testing and feedback process.

This extensive and multi-faceted system accounts for all of the idiosyncrasies and engineering complexities presented when creating products designed for the human body. For guidance through this delicate and unique challenge, our team has fostered close, co-operative relationships across the medical community.

The SIC team of experts and designers come from a broad spectrum of professional engineering backgrounds and each bring their individual expertise and approach to the unique challenges that this process presents. They unanimously agree that this work is an ongoing and fascinating engineering challenge.
